Days of Our Lives spoilers next week feature wedding surprises and more. According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, the moment that Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) have been waiting for will finally arrive and so far there seems to be no glitches that will stand in the way of their much-awaited wedding.

This couple have gone through lots of trying times and past circumstances have wretched them apart from each other, but thankfully their love for each other still manages to bring them back to each other’s arms, and the upcoming wedding, according to the Days of Our Lives spoilers next week, is the proof that they’re meant to be together.

Stephanie (Shelley Hennig) is even coming to the wedding and Kayla and Steve’s daughter is quite ecstatic about her parents’ upcoming nuptials as seen in the trailer video.

Stephanie says in the video that she wouldn’t miss her parents’ wedding for the world and she’s ready to do her part to make Kayla and Steve’s wedding the happiest moment for them.

Unfortunately, not everyone will be in a jovial mood in the coming days according to the Days of Our Lives spoilers next week.

Celeb Dirty Laundry added more details on upcoming episodes of Days of Our Lives and it seems that some of the people there are willing to fight fire with fire.

Chad (Billy Flynn) and Gabi (Camila Banus) are still in dire straits thanks to Deimos (Vincent Irizarry) but help is on the way, although it will come in an unconventional way.

According to the Days of Our Lives spoilers next week, Andre (Thaao Penghlis) and Eduardo (A Martinez) are going to abduct Sonny (Freddie Smith) and use him to trade with Chad and Gabi.

Unfortunately, as most abductions go, this particular incident won’t go smoothly, and when Sonny gets kidnapped, Paul will get thrashed for simply being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Also, when Sonny finally settles down wherever Andre and Eduardo dump him in, he’ll start planning his own escape, which also won’t go smoothly.

According to the Days of Our Lives spoilers next week, Sonny will try to escape his “prison” but one of the guards will catch him in the act and beat him to an inch of his life.

It seems that the best thing for Sonny to do is to wait for the storm to pass because he won’t be going anywhere once Andre and Eduardo get their hands on him.

As for Chad and Gabi, despite their troubling situation, something good might come out of it. According to the Days of Our Lives spoilers next week, the two abducted individuals will become much more attached to each other during their imprisonment despite their traumatic experience.

According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, the two abductees will be inches away from certain death before they get rescued but their shared experience will also force them to form a tighter bond.

Meanwhile, Hope (Kristian Alfonso) is looking to be in better shape seeing that her legal troubles will soon be over.

According to the Days of Our Lives spoilers next week, Hope’s legal troubles will be resolved soon and she’ll even have enough time to attend Steve and Kayla’s wedding.

Rafe (Galen Gering) will be the one to take Hope to Steve and Kayla’s wedding and all the people at the gathering will be happy that she’s finally free from her legal troubles.

It’s going to be a happy wedding for the lovely couple and everyone who is going to be there will certainly shed a tear or two once Steve and Kayla say their vows once more. It will truly be a huge Valentine’s Day event according to the Days of Our Lives spoilers next week.

white sales clerk blasts black mom over prom dress

An African American mom was disrespected in the highest order — twice — when she shopped for her daughter’s prom dresses 2015 in the city’s upscale Buckhead district this past week.

Coretta Leggz White received what she deemed was extremely poor service from a white sales clerk at Miz Scarletts on Peachtree Road. The boutique store boasts is has “an expansive 2-story showroom with a vast array of wedding, prom, gala and pageant gowns for all ages.”

The perturbed mother took her outrage to social media and even tagged the NAACP Atlanta Branch’s social media account.

“I purchased a dress for my daughter’s prom from Miz Scarletts on Peachtree. My experience was not good so I gave a review. Please read what the owner Susan Smithson had to say about black people in her establishment,” White said.

Those words lit a fire under the behind of a racist white sales clerk who served

“Maybe because U stole it. I am calling Atlanta Police.

Coretta Leggz White responds, “I have my receipt. Call them.”

Susan Smithson writes back, “I will u filthy ni**er. … MizScarletts is a white owned business for whites only take your uppity ni**er a$$ elsewehere.”

“11alive news crew went out to visit Susan of Miz Scarletts and she stated that an ex employee is behind this account that is referring to blacks as niggers. She states that he is trying to destroy her. I’m not sure how true this is but I thought I would let everyone know. I still stand by what I said about my experience with them. I was not happy and do not recommend anyone purchase from them,” said White.

When It Comes To Prom Dresses, Teen Blogger Knows What's In Style

It's officially prom season. And for girls especially, that means one thing in particular: dresses — lots of dresses.

Teen fashion blogger Justina Sharp goes vintage in this prom dress.

Because it's been, well, more than a few years since the Weekend Edition staff had been to a prom themselves, NPR's Rachel Martin reached out to the person who would know best what's trending this year: Justina Sharp, a teen fashion writer who's been blogging on the topic at A Bent Piece of Wire since she was 13 years old.

You may be as shocked as we were to find that tulle isn't exactly a thing anymore.

"What I'm seeing this year in terms of trends for prom and formal marieprom in general is a return to sort of a classic elegance," Sharp says. "A lot more structure, but also in order to kind of bring it to the age level of the girls wearing it, there's a lot of cutouts and bright colors. There's lace happening, embellishments, patterns, but ... they're long, they're ball dresses."

"Social media is almost driving this return to what I would say is a more sophisticated look," Justina Sharp says.

In fact, for her own senior prom, Sharp showcased a classic look, as well.

"I wore a vintage dress from the 1960s that I found in a thrift store. I saw it and I fell in love," she says. "It has [a] beautiful hand-beaded belt on it. and it's bright pink like that bubble gum, Mad Men 1960s pink. You don't find pink like that anymore, because I'm pretty sure the fabric it's made out of is pretty flammable."

As for what type of dresses are out of fashion this time around?

"The super short and super tight," Sharp says. "It's not happening this year. Prom is such a big, special, formal night for so many girls, it's something that they're going to remember for the rest of their lives, and they're starting to dress like that. "

Added to that, she says this is a generation "where we're always watching each other."

"Everything's going on Instagram, everything's going on Twitter, and everyone wants to look good for that, so social media is almost driving this return to what I would say is a more sophisticated look."

Sharp notes that indeed social media and celebrities such as Kylie Jenner are influencing the way teenagers dress and how they wear their makeup.

"I think teens right now and the youth in general are extremely aware of style and fashion and how to kind of take little pieces of different people's looks and really turn that into their own style. At least, that's what I do and I hope my readers are doing," she says.

These individual styles, however, don't come cheap.

"Prom is a big investment for a lot of young people," Sharp says.

Parents, you may want to close your eyes for this final part.
